Winter Ride Challenge Series #4

Wind chill was a little on the cold side with -15 degrees hitting the body. Factor in the speed and it was closer to -27 on the skin. My toes couldn't stay warm even with the toe hot packs inside. Indoor spinning is looking even better although the company (yes, misery loves company) made it worthwhile.

There was a good turnout of regulars and a few new people. My stupid phone won't work properly because of the dying battery so can't take any pictures. It was kinda hard anyhow as my thick gloves made taking pictures tough.

We rode the typical Mondo cafe weekend ride through Essex County. Lots of good roads during the summer. Today, the snow and slop made them difficult. The passing cars splashed up a generous helping of road slush into us all. Thank goodness for glasses-- just need little wiper blades on them for these days.
