Winter Ride Challenge Series #10

Another snowy and sloppy day for riding outdoors. And, another vehicle in need of pushing out of a ditch. If the peleton keeps coming to the rescue, bikes might actually get a share of the road!

It is the tenth ride of nineteen and I'm already out of the running for most points. Not to worry as the group is still riding hard and keeping us collectively on our toes. Today the roads were nasty slushy or snow covered and the trails had another fresh coat of powdery white stuff all over. I still haven't figured out the tire situation and found myself slipping and sliding all over the trails. It is always fun riding through LaSalle as it's so close to home and I didn't even want to go home today.

I think we're all committed to the winter riding, or we should be committed for the winter riding. While being a lot of work and wet and even cold, it sure beats spinning in the basement with a small fan and a stupid video I've likely watched a few hundred times (sorry Chris C but your videos do get boring....). The bottom line is that it was another fun training ride with good company.
